These terms govern your use of the Cheshire Private Hire Transport website and any booking made through it, by phone, or via WhatsApp. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
We are a licensed private hire operator, licensed by Cheshire West and Chester Council under Operator ID O1302. All drivers are DBS-checked and appropriately licensed, and all vehicles are comprehensively insured, in accordance with our licensing conditions.
You may choose to pay the full fare online in advance via card (processed securely by Stripe), or in cash or by card directly to your driver at the end of the journey. A 2% fee applies to all card payments, whether paid online or to your driver. Either option confirms your booking equally, there is no difference in booking priority between the two.
Our full cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup receive a full refund (where paid online); cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable, as a driver and vehicle have already been allocated to you.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any other loss arising from your booking is limited to the value of the fare paid. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents not of our making).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@cheshireprivatehire.com or 01606 645707.
These terms have been drafted to reflect our actual booking, pricing and cancellation practices as a licensed UK private hire operator. They are not a substitute for independent legal advice, and we'd recommend a solicitor review them in light of your specific licensing conditions before treating them as final.
